Stinson Beach Kitchen
This small space, in a lovely 1963 Stinson Beach A-frame, required a new kitchen that allowed for better flow and more counter space. The space is constrained by an exterior sloped ceiling and a stairwell. The client wanted an open feel with a large counter/seating area for frequent entertaining. A short wall under an existing soffit houses the stove and exhaust system. Only under-counter refrigeration and limited open upper shelves allow for an open, airy -- yet functional -- beach kitchen.
