CUSTOM WALL DESIGN

A local muralist created this shimmering plaster coating with hand painted ginkgo leaves and birds in a Craftsman-style home in Berkeley. Fanciful but subtle tones create a soothing backdrop for stronger furnishings and finishes that create a warm environment.

CERAMIC SCONCE

JMD fabricated this sconce to personalize the lighting in her client’s home. JMD pays attention to every detail so each project is a unique reflection of the client’s personalty and life-style.

BUN FOOT

A ceramicist/client wanted the bun feet on her new vanity to match the form she often uses on her pots. Together, the client and JMD transformed her vision into a drawing, followed by a 3D prototype, which, once approved, was then passed on to a wood turner who fabricated her vision.

KITCHEN BANQUETTES

JMD custom designed these benches to create a charming dining nook for her client. Elegant sage-moss fabric seats, articulated warm white trim and corner windows create a welcoming gathering space.
